The Misophonia Reflex Finder app is now available for both iPhones and Android devices. This is a free app that will help you identify your initial physical reflex. You can record a trigger, edit the audio file to remove leading noise/silence, and then playback the trigger with a precise volume and duration.
It has been demonstrated many times that when the trigger is VERY short (about 0.2 seconds), it is just a “click” sound, and not a trigger. So you hear it, but don’t trigger (feel it). Then you slowly increase the duration (length) of the trigger until you start to feel it. At this point, you will not have the negative emotions — you will simply feel something in your body. What you feel is your initial physical reflex.
